“It Is A Master-Stroke By Irvin Khoza" – Reader’s Voice

Rhulani Mokwena's move to Orlando Pirates came at the right time for both the young tactician and Pirates. It is a master-stroke by Irvin Khoza.

The move gives Mokwena a great opportunity to prove his worth as an assistant coach away from the shadows of Pitso Mosimane and his former second in command, Manqoba Mngqithi.

Mokwena made a name for himself as an integral part of the successful Mamelodi Sundowns team, where his contribution was highly appreciated by ‘Jingles’. Mosimane often mentioned him as a valuable member of his technical team.

At Pirates, he joins a team that needs his expertise the most. It's a challenge to work with a team that is in a rebuilding process. He will have to dig deep to protect his reputation and continue building a name for himself.

Lucky for him, he joins a head coach who is already speaking highly of him in the media, hopefully ‘Micho’ will make good use of Mokwena's tactical acumen, and not turn him into a glorified ball boy.

I see a beautiful story with Pirates and Mokwena.
