The Spanish giants knocked the Bavarians out of the competition, with the tie ending 5-3 in favour of Zinedine Zidane's side.
Despite a few contentious decisions going Real's way, Ronaldo stole the show when he scored a hat-trick.
The Portuguese's third strike in the second leg brought up his 100th goal in Champions League football, taking him six clear of his rival Lionel Messi.
Ronaldo was brilliant in the first leg of the quarter-finals, during which he found the back of the net twice, and was even more ruthless on Tuesday, although it can be argued that two of his goals should have been blown up for offside.
Los Blancos, last season's UCL winners, have now advanced through to the semi-final stage of the competition, along with Atletico Madrid, who beat Leicester City over two legs to progress.
Ronaldo has now scored 31 goals and assisted a further 12 strikes in 38 matches for Real this season.
