Mosimane: We Are Feeling It

Mosimane: We Are Feeling It

By Soccer Laduma - Apr 16, 2017 06:31 PM
Mamelodi Sundowns coach Pitso Mosimane admits that his side are feeling the effects of their hectic football schedule following their 1-0 victory against Free State Stars.

Masadawana reduced the deficit between themselves and log-leaders Cape Town City to four points and despite highlighting his happiness at the garnering maximum points - the former Bafana Bafasna mentor admitted that the reigning Absa Premiership champions are bearing the brunt of their chock-a-block schedule.

"At this point in time, it is a game of one goal to win, it is not a game of five goals or six, you got to take what is on the table and what was on the table today was one goal and three points," he said after the game.

"We tried to score, especially with set-pieces - Thela didn't want us to score, the goalpost didn't want to score. We were tired you could see, the sun and heavy legs you know a lot of games, in the last 20/30 minutes you could see we were not there. So we just soaked the pressure and then dragged the game until it finished, and ya Khama (Billiat) has tired hamstrings, Thapelo (Morena) has tired hamstrings, Percy (Tau) has two tired hamstrings so... it's our life we just have to manage them and try and stay away from training sessions and play the next game.

The load is a bit heavy I must tell you, we are feeling it but we are mentally strong and we want to win the game. So if you are mentally strong and want to win the game, that's important. Then you can win the game, but a tough team, the second half they played better," he added.

Mosimane suggested that he would make a number of changes for his side's next league encounter against SuperSport United on Wednesday evening, in addition to heaping praise on veteran midfielder Paulus Masehe.

"We will have to change a few legs, Mashaba was of course changed he got a knee on a thigh that's another one so Ricardo Nascimento he didn't finish the game against Supersport United, you know when you limping to the finish line? We will limp to the finish line as long as we can score one or two.

"I have big respect for Paulus Masehe - at that age and being able to fight with Khama. Khama outsprints many people and he did his best and at that age to be able to play at that intensity, with that maturity and everything.. he gives everything to the club. I take my hat off to him," he concluded.

I don't hate Swinedunus I only hate their greediness. Swineclowns introduced that stupid greed clause in players contracts when they are loaned by other teams, the clause used to be that you wont play if your team play against Dunudunu. Again when Chiefs want to buy players Dunusa will buy them first and bench them until they lose form and become useless like Mbatha, Nomandela, Rogers,Manqele and the list is endless. Now players like Ngele, Malajila are playing for Wits while they were supposed to be playing for Chiefs but Greedy flops used them to buy Vilakazi who is also benched like Teko Modise. Now Flops are False CAF Champions via bribing the CAF president. That's what I hate about Dunudunu otherwise if they can turn from their wicked ways I will forgive them.

As for as long as you win games clean without bribing officials I am happy and wish you all the best. I hate it when you start bribing officials like you did with CAF.

As long as people hate us we are still going torment the opposition teams. The league is a marathon thats where boys are seperated from man's. It hot @ the top if you are not strong enough you gonna miss the golden opportunity of clinching the title. Its wide open for everyone
