Real To Draw Atletico?
Real Madrid To Draw Atletico?
Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid have met each other in two of the past three UEFA Champions League finals, but could they meet in the semi-finals this time around?
The two Spanish giants have met each other in the knockout stages in each of the past three editions of the competition, with Real emerging victorious on all three occasions.
Los Blancos beat Diego Simeone's side in both finals, and also progressed when the two teams met in the 2014/15 quarter-finals.
Juventus, the losing finalists in the 2014/15 campaign, are still present after impressively knocking out FC Barcelona this week, while AS Monaco reached the semi-finals for the first time since 2003/04.
There is no seeding at this stage of the competition, which means any semi-finalist can meet any of the other three teams. The draw will take place at UEFA's headquarters in Nyon, Switzerland, at 12:00pm today.
The semi-finals will be played on Tuesday, 2 May, and Wednesday, 3 May, with the return legs taking place the following week.
The 2016/17 Champions League final will take place on Saturday, 3 June, in Cardiff, and Real, should they progress to the decider, will attempt to become the first side to defend the coveted title.
