Chiefs Pull Out Of Striker Race?

Kaizer Chiefs Seem To Have Decided Against Signing Ndumiso Mabena

By Soccer Laduma - Jul 14, 2017 12:50 PM
Kaizer Chiefs look to have pulled out of the race to sign Ndumiso Mabena, opting against bringing in the former Orlando Pirates striker.

The striker, who turned 30 in May, is currently a free agent after the decision not to renew his contract in Phokeng and look for a new move elsewhere.

While the ex-Buccaneer is wanted by some people at Chiefs, the Siya crew has been informed that a collective decision has been made not to pursue his signature because of his age.

It was recently reported by the crew that Bloemfontein Celtic, who had a dismal record in front of goal last season, had shown an interest in landing Mabena, and it is thought that they now lead the race for his signature after Chiefs dropped out of the running.

The Amakhosi have already made three signings for the new season, in Teenager Hadebe, Philani Zulu and Bhongolethu Jayiya, and are expected to announce some others in the future as they continue to bolster their squad for the new season.

"While the ex-Buccaneer is wanted by some people at Chiefs" - WHICH PEOPLE YOU LIERS. ALWAYS MENTIONING CHIEFS WHEN YOU WANT OTHER CLUBS TO SIGN A PLAYER AT A VERY HIGH PRICE.

That's typical Bobby and Steve!,,,They dont worry about lack of scoring goals!,,,Out of the signees to profolic striker is signed!,,,How ordinary has this club become!,,,Its nomore a winning team!,,,Free State Stars and Maritzburg United has never challenged to win either cup or league and thats what Chiefs is heading to!
