Kaizer Chiefs bagged the Maize Cup title this past weekend, beating both Township Rollers and Free State Stars to walk away as winners of the mini tournament. Gustavo Paez was the talking point for Chiefs as the Venezuelan striker scored a brace to secure a spot in the final against Ea Lla Koto.
Kaizer Chiefs are said to have pulled out of their bid to sign Ndumiso Mabena. The striker is currently a free agent after being released by Platinum Stars and it is believed that the player’s age is the reason for Chiefs' decision to pull out.
